Stephen Barker Turner and Babak Tafti to Star in Vineyard Theatre's The North Pool

Stephen Barker Turner and Babak Tafti will star as Dr. Danielson and Khadim Asmaan, respectively, in Rajiv Joseph's The North Pool. The Vineyard Theatre production begins previews February 14, with an official opening set for March 6. The show will play a limited engagement through March 24.

Directed by Giovanna Sardelli, The North Pool tells the story of a high school principal (Turner) and a Middle-Eastern-born transfer student (Asmaan) who face-off in a politically and emotionally charged game of cat and mouse. Tensions rise and secrets are unveiled in the psychological drama.

Turner has appeared off-Broadway in Benefactors, Race, All My Sons, A Letter from Ethel Kennedy and Lips. His TV credits include Body of Proof, Blue Bloods and Sex and the City. Tafti is making his off-Broadway debut in The North Pool. His TV credits include Blue Bloods and Crash.
